BIOGRAPHY

Thomas Milovac (b. 1997) is a bassist, composer/improviser, bandleader, multi-instrumentalist, and visual artist. He is a leader of various projects under his own name including the Thomas Milovac Quartet, Sextet, and Ensemble. He is also the leader of the group Moon Rays. 

He is a regular member of Ulysses Owens Jr's Gen Y and Big Band, the Ryan Devlin Quartet, Kristen Warren & Creek, John Lumpkin and the Covenant, and Madre Vaca. Thomas has also appeared on stage with artists such as Kurt Elling, Wayne Escoffery, Steve Swell, Zoh Amba, Steve Cohn, Altin Sencalar, Jonas Van den Bossche, flora flora, and Christopher Ward. He has appeared internationally performing in cities such as Tokyo, New York City, and the Azore Islands.

In 2021, Thomas started Cosmo Sonic Collective, a record label focused on curating and releasing improvised music. CSC also organizes concerts in the Orlando area.

He is a native of the Pittsburgh area but is now based in Orlando, Florida.
